GUIDELINES & NOMINATION FORM

NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS

The Distinguished Alumni Award honors alumni of Thomas Jefferson High School.  The requirements for this award are as follows:

1)      The Nominee by virtue of his/her business and professional career and/or lifetime accomplishments has not only achieved success but also in some manner has given back to the school, alumni association and/or the community.

2)      The nominee must have been a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for at least two (2) years.

3)      This award may be given posthumously.

4)      Nominations may be sent in by anyone as long as the above-mentioned requirements are met.

5)      A nomination in writing must be sent to the Alumni Association at 4448 Rheims Place, Dallas, Texas 75005.  When nominating, please write legibly and include a phone number or e-mail address where you can be reached so that any questions that may arise can be answered promptly.

6)      The Nominee must be at least thirty (30) years of age.

This award is not to be confused with the Athletic Hall of Fame Award.  A committee of the Alumni Association selects the nominees which are presented to the Alumni Association for a vote.
